The Lakes & Wildlife

In 1986 we aquired a thirty year old worked out gravel pit and surrounding grassland with a view to transforming it into a recreational facility with a waterside pavilion and wildlife habitats.

We spent many years landscaping the lakes and land, planting thousands of trees, shrubs and aquatic plants to create a picturesque natural environment which now has four spring fed trout lakes, woodland areas and meadows all playing host to abundant wildlife and a lakeside pavilion and seafood restaurant nestling at the waters edge.

So if you would like to join us in enjoying the wildlife and facilities of Halliford Mere Lakes, whether it's for a stroll around the lakes, a meal in our waterside pavilion or just a casual drink, please give us a ring or drop in and see us.
